We still have some spots at the rejuvenated La Vida Garden.  Started by a youth group in 2010, Cornell Cooperative Extension is helping the folks who have been involved for a while get organized and bring new energy to the garden.
The fee is $10 for the year and includes everything you need--seeds, water, soil, tools, instruction and more.
If you are interested, email mfletcher@newburghcommunitylandbank.org for an application.  First come, first serve.  If we fill up, there are also beds at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center and the Dutch Reform Church.  We can help you find the right connections there too!
